Kol Ami Musicians to Perform World Premiere

Spring Session: 3 PM Sunday, April 2nd

Lara Steinel, Music Director

Plan to attend the second annual “Spring Session,” a concert featuring area composers and their original Jewish songs at Congregation Beth Torah at 3pm on Sunday, April 2nd. Our Rabbi Doug Alpert will be the emcee for the concert. In addition to hearing music written and performed by almost every synagogue musician and several rabbis in the KC area, you’ll also hear the world premiere of Kol Ami member and Portland, OR resident Roberta Solomon‘s song, “Bayom Hahu/Let That Day Come Soon.” Roberta recently explained that her dream was to have it performed by young people and its debut will feature Jon Greenwald on piano; singers Zeva Rose Gebhard, Sawyer Nevins and Scarlett Nevins; with Kol Ami Music Director Lara Steinel.

No admission charge; $5 donation suggested to help cover concert expenses. Questions? Contact Lara Steinel (lsteinel@earthlink.net).
