Join us at 6:30 pm on Friday, December 8th at All Souls for a special shabbat with a social justice focus. This Shabbat is an opportunity to explore how human rights issues are also Jewish issues and how we can act on these issues as a community.
We hope to see you for a family friendly service followed by a nosh and opportunity to meet leaders from organizations in Kansas City committed to social justice and learn how you can get involved.
Hosted by our Congregation Kol Ami, this service is a collaborative project of Congregation Kol Ami, Jewish Vocational Service and Jewish Family Services.
The program is made possible by a generous grant from J-LEAD.
Sponsored nationally by T’ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights, we will be joining Jewish communities around North America in celebrating Human Rights Shabbat by turning the Shabbat of International Human Rights Day into a day of learning and commitment to action.
