Saturday October 22 at 9:00 begins the annual Harvest Festival at our community garden. The neighbors planned it to coincide with Sukkot. Linda Sackin will supervise art activities involving sukkah decoration. Rabbi Doug will be presenting lessons about Sukkot. There will be music and plenty of food.
Lunch starts around noon. Some of the food will be from the garden. Some will be pot luck. Please bring some if you can.
We will be harvesting peanuts and sweet potatoes. If there has not yet been a freeze there will also be tomatoes, beans, arugula, peppers and egg plant to harvest as well.
People come and go all day long, so feel free to come at any time.
