Ever been to our Friday Night Shabbat service and wished for more ‘oneg — more time to delight in the relaxed company of friends, maybe a little more variety and punch to the fruit of the vine at Kiddush? Then tomorrow night is for you!

It’s the inauguration of what we’re calling “Following Fridays.” (That is, not “First Friday,” but the one after that.) The second Friday of each month our Shabbat gathering will up the ‘oneg. In addition to the classic Kedem juice, we’ll have wine and encourage you to bring some of your favorite to share. If your favorite drink isn’t made from grapes, bring it anyway: there’s a blessing for that! Also encouraged are vegetarian snacks that pair especially well. There should be fridge space for chilling, as appropriate. LeChayim! See you there!
